Japanese Junior Ambassadors

This annual cultural-educational program in the Netherlands is arranged by APEP at the request of the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Diplomacy, which is sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
US Congressional Staffers

APEP brought staff members of US Congress members to the Netherlands for an educational visit.
Equal Opportunities Program
May 06 – 12, 2001
This study trip focused on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The program was developed by the CG-Raad Nederland (the Dutch Council of the Chronically Ill and the Disabled) in cooperation with the Atlantic & Pacific Exchange Program (APEP) and with advice from the Dutch Embassy to the United States , Task Force No Limits, and the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF). Mr. Jan Troost, Chairman of the CG-Raad, led the delegation.

APEP took a high-level business and government representatives to the United States to study developments in biotechnology. Professor Joseph Hautvast, MD, Director of the Wageningen Centre for Food Sciences, led the delegation together with Member of Parliament Erica Terpstra (VVD Party).
US Judges visit to the Netherlands

A delegation of five American judges (and their spouses) visit the Netherlands to visit Dutch courts as well as the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court and a Dutch law firm.
